Your pedicure step by step

  1. Foot bath: A warm, relaxing foot bath softens skin and nails.
  2. Nail care: Toenails are trimmed and shaped, and cuticles are cared for.
  3. Callus removal: Hard skin is gently removed – for smooth, well-groomed feet.
  4. Color of your choice: Classic polish, shellac or long-lasting gel polish.

For feet that stay well-groomed, a pedicure about every 4 to 6 weeks is a good rhythm – a little more often in summer, when your feet are on show and work harder.

Classic polish is ideal if you like to change color often. Shellac and gel polish are cured under UV light and last much longer. Because toenails grow more slowly than fingernails, color usually lasts even longer on your feet than on your hands.

Nothing special – just time to relax. If you’d like regular polish, open shoes or flip-flops are handy so it doesn’t smudge. With shellac and gel, the color is dry immediately.
